President's Welcome

Greetings,

The Seattle Chapter embarked upon the 2021-2022 program year with a plan for excellent programming, which included an amazing Jack and Jill Day and Carole Robertson tribute in September. In December, we had a Holiday Magic event which was held at the Washington State Fairgrounds. This event was truly magical with our families enjoying ice skating, a ride on Santa’s express train and a merry-go-round, cookie decorating, dancing and good family fun. 

In 2022, we are kicking off our year with each grade group participating in several community service activities which include creating care packages, filling a Birthday Party Box where we put together to-go packages and helping re-stock the pantry at Food Lifeline. In addition, we will fill backpacks for foster children through the Together We Rise initiative and our children will help create an inspirational MLK video for the Central Area Senior Center. Also, we plan to celebrate Founders' Day virtually with two other chapters in the Pacific Northwest Cluster – Portland Willamette and Tacoma. We plan to host our 6th annual Teen Retreat for the Pacific Northwest Cluster at beautiful Islandwood where our teens and the teens from both Tacoma and Portland Williamette Chapters will focus on leadership, health, public speaking, financial literacy, and team building. In March, we plan to celebrate our high school juniors and seniors at our biennial Honoree Ball and participate in the March for Babies' March of Dimes walk. Throughout the year, we will focus on delivering engaging, National Thrust and We Are One focused activities for all of our children and teens. We plan to host our annual Associates and Father’s Auxiliary Appreciation events. We will wrap up our programming year by celebrating our Jacks and Jills, our Teens, our Fathers, and our Mothers that bridge over to Associates. 

Sensational Seattle is Fierce, Focused, and Fired Up and we will use our Power to Make a Difference for all children, on mission, on purpose as we strive to strengthen our families, children, and communities.
